Citizens for Local Power was delighted and proud to be among the dozens of local organizations and churches joining Kingston’s first-ever African-American Cultural Festival, organized by Harambee on Sunday, August 25 . The event started with a lively parade down Broadway, followed by music, speeches, and lots of good information, food, and conviviality on the Strand. We congratulate the organizers and look forward to next year.
