At the launch, local Green Business Leaders will share their experience and lessons learned including financing and practical tips. A $20 contribution includes breakfast. Vendor tables are available for $30. Seats are limited; please pre-register here.

All projects are eligible for financing from various sources, and businesses, organizations and all municipalities that successfully carry out one of the actions will be recognized with a County award.

The campaign’s goal is to inspire 100 participating entities to carry out one or more of the following actions:

  • Energy audit
  • Energy retrofit
  • Installation solar array or other renewable energy system to serve own energy needs
  • Purchase of electric vehicle or installation of charging station(s)
  • Disposal of food waste in an environmentally friendly manner (Food Bank or composting)
  • Significant decrease in single-use plastic usage.

The campaign also supports local green building contractors and renewable energy providers.
