Are you thinking about Community Solar? We certainly are!
Over the past year, we’ve found that there are a number of companies that appear to offer the same service: connecting ratepayers with solar farm subscriptions. The available options generally offer 10% savings, and source an equivalent of your electricity use from a solar farm.
Sound familiar? It’s not so easy to decide between these options, is it?
This is why we at Citizens For Local Power have taken steps to provide you Citizens with knowledge. We spoke with four out of the six available community solar providers in the Central Hudson service area, and summarized our findings below.
Solstice and PowerMarket are currently seeking subscribers for solar farms in Ellenville and New Windsor, respectively, and Solstice offers a $200 donation to Citizens For Local Power for all subscribers who join based on our recommendation.
